Our Journey

In 2018, my father started a home care agency in western North Carolina, which serviced Residential Home Care, Assisted Living and Veteran Home Care.  Shortly after getting started, I was brought on staff as the acting Agency Director to provide hiring, orientation, compliance, payroll and scheduling.  As the company grew, we expanded our operation to service more clients and a larger geographic area.

In early 2024, I established Bravo Zulu Home Care as a new company that would serve the greater Charlotte area and also transition my father’s clients and caregivers to my new company in the greater Hendersonville area.  At the same time, I still receive my father’s council and wisdom as he continues to support the new business as a mentor and as a part of our management team.


What Does “Bravo Zulu Mean?”

We have had the honor and privilege to provide Home Care services to many of our United States Veterans.  The requirements and expectations to serve a Veteran of our country has made our service a better service, not only for Veterans, but also for the residential Home Care service and Assisted Living services that we offer. 

So, when we stated the process of creating the new company name, I wanted to show our gratitude and pay our respect to those who have served our country.  And not only to the Veteran, but to their family who also sacrificed throughout the years.  Bravo Zulu is a naval term that means “Well Done”.   This is our way of saying “Well Done” and paying respect to our United States Veterans and their families, as we “serve those who have served our country.

The reputation of our company is only as good as the qualified caregiver that we are sending to your home or facility.  We are committed to a thorough hiring practice, orientation and continued training for our caregivers.  Our goal is to hire the best and retain their service.  To do that, we are willing to offer the top pay rate for the most qualified Caregivers.  Our team of Registered Nurse Supervisors and Service Supervisors are also in-place to ensure that we provide the best care possible.

We are a family run business, and we have a streamlined approach to our pricing, so that there are no upfront deposits or hidden charges, no long-term commitments and no surprises.
